Christina explains things very well! James was a great coach! He kept me going! Everyone made me feel very welcomed.
It’s not boring and I like that it’s a great workout in a short amount of time
Motivating coach and great fitness plan
Everything
Great setting, motivating music, welcoming front desk. I was a visitor from Edina, MN OTF.
Music
The staff are friendly, trainers are professional, facility is clean, workouts are challenging and it’s conveniently located
I love the workout! It can be difficult for the 50+ crowd though.
I love the option to run/jog/power walk, that the workouts are always a little different, and that the coaches are energetic but not obnoxious. Also so many class times is very convenient.
The challenge, great coaches
The energy
I love everything the study has done for me. From the people to the challenge of the workouts I have thoroughly enjoyed my year there. The workouts continue to push me to work harder and I look forward to going every time I sign up for a class.
First time in several years that I see a difference in my body. I’ve always been active and fit bit things change at 60!! I feel as strong as I did at a much younger age.
Friendly staff
Nice equipment and installation
Motivating coaches
Love the coaches, front desk team and the energy. By far the best OTF I’ve been to, and I’ve been to A LOT of studios!
Great people, insane workout so different from my typical workouts & just running. I’ll be back
I like how, you get everything done and a good workout in just an hour
Each day is different. The workouts provide a good balance of cardio, weights and core strengthening. The trainers help motivate and also check form. I couldn’t be happier with OT.
Everything! I love the energy, the accountability, the coaches, the routines, everything. I am huge on exercise and I found orange theory around 4 years ago and it’s changed my whole exercise life. I was getting burnt out on the gym, runs, bike rides and gym classes. Orangetheory is exactly what I was looking for! I love working out in a group. I love showing up, not thinking, and getting a killer work out in 50 minutes. I also love that is is challenging. I was platoing in everything I was doing, but with 🍊 I always feel challenged. Just take a week off and it’s like starting all over 😆. I just had my 2nd baby and one of the hardest parts was having to stop 🍊 finally at 7 mo. Had my 1st day back on Halloween and it felt so amazing!!! I plan my week, sign up for my classes, had a babe, just turned 40 and look better then ever. LOVE ORANGETHEORY!!! 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊❤️🍊❤️🍊🧡🍊❤️❤️🍊🧡❤️❤️🧡🧡🍊🧡🍊🤣❤️❤️🧡🍊🧡❤️❤️🧡 🍊🥰🍊❤️🧡🍊😘
Efficient! All I have to do is get myself to show up!
What’s not to love! Music, camaraderie, challenging workouts, events, variation, and did I say challenge?
Fidel was a great coach. Kept energy high. Touched on tiny improvements we each could make. gave us each some personal attention through the workout.
I love that the coaches are knowledgeable about safety, form, and keep an eye on all the students in their classes. I love the energy in the room and the motivation from the coaches and other students. I also love that it is super challenging every class and that every class is different. I am NEVER bored. Also, my cardiovascular capacity has increased markedly after ten months at OTF. #otferforlife
Friendly and welcoming studio.
I like:
Mainly cardio/calorie burn but also a full body workout
Coaches push us to push ourselves
Camaraderie - we all encourage and support each other
Pre-programmed workout - I don't have to think too much; I can let my mind wander
Cleanliness
Classes throughout the day
Incredibly kind staff and coaches
Upbeat music
Heart rate monitor so I can track my workout intensity
What I don't like:
Scheduling - if I cancel, I get charged. Even when there is a waitlist. If someone is taking my spot, I shouldn't be charged. And, 8 hours notice? It makes me not want to sign up for a class if there is any doubt in my mind. How about a "three strikes then you get charged" rule so we have some leniency?
The floor exercises are treated like cardio exercises - low weight and high reps. We get enough cardio on the tread and rower. Make the floor section more like a "weightlifting" experience - lower reps and higher weight. That would make OTF a more balanced and complete full body workout.
Sometimes, the coaches talk too fast, too quietly, or there are just so many transitions/program changes/instructions that the workout gets confusing. If you are doing OTF correctly, you are constantly at the edge of exhaustion, so even simple instructions can get challenging!
Overall, OTF is a great workout and a fantastic fitness experience. I would advise members to remember that, "You can't out exercise a bad diet," and to get their diet in check. The only way you are really going to see results from OTF, or any exercise program, is to manage your diet first. Once your diet is really on point, you will be surprised how quickly the fat disappears!
Streamlined. Easy to follow.
Always a great workout at Orange Theory. I have never left a class feeling like I wasted my time. I have been a member for 6 months and I can say it is the only regiment I have stuck with but also look forward to. The Orange Theory team is the best from the front desk people to the coaches!
The staff and coaches at Banker's Hill studio are top notch. My wife and I have been going there since it opened and it's become a staple in our lives. The culture has changed a lot from when it first opened (in a good way) as well and currently feels very inclusive of people of all types of abilities, which is nice. I wouldn't change a thing and recommend Banker's Hill studio to anyone I can.
I REALLY like how each class there is something different. I also like that I can find a modifier for any of the exercises to work within my ability. I recommend Orange Theory to everybody I know!!
Orangetheory is set up for you to have a successful workout in 60 minutes. You have a coach / trainer there with you, motivating you to give your best, make the workout count. At a gym you are on your own pace, but at Orangetheory you try to maintain or achieve a pace.
