I like the structure of having a workout laid out for me. I like learning new things to do on the weights, Bosa, etc. I really like having a coach there to help direct and motivate me.
I just show up and you tell me what to do! I don't even have to worry about the music. It's challenging for me every time. I've found it truly is the most efficient use of my workout time. No waiting for equipment. Variety. Challenge. Building skills, strength and endurance. High energy. Friendly people. My health markers have all improved. I'm 50+ and fairly new to OT. I have appreciated that I there is differentiation built in to the workouts so I have felt comfortable being a beginner alongside seasoned athletes. I did not expect such an individual pathway in a group fitness model. The coaches are rockstars! Shout out to Megan K, Kat and Jay who I see the most.

I like the variety of the workouts and how welcoming the staff is to new people. They ensure I am using the equipment correctly and are always willing to help when I am not sure hw to use something.

Community
Coach Leslie and the staff at OTF Cottage Grove are top class. I transitioned my membership from a different OTF studio over to Cottage Grove 2.5 years ago and never looked back. The community that has been built at OTF CG is like no other gym I have ever encountered. Coaches truly get to know you and call out your name during class, SA’s always welcome you into the studio with open arms, and members are positive and encouraging. I love this community and would recommend OTF CG to anyone looking to join a gym!
Croy is a blast to workout with! He brings great fun and energy, and engages with everyone in the room really well. Workouts are challenging and scaleable to help ensure it's time well spent.
Quick in and out with 1 hour workout, someone tells me what to do and there is no thinking and figuring out what I need to do!
On a side note please remind people (every class) how the floor works in regards to staying in your lane and more importantly, where that lane is. Also remind to please ask to use others weights (every class)

I like that for as many classes I have been to they ALL have been different. So I like the variety of the classes. I also enjoy a couple of the coaches, both Cole and Gena. They are true coaches, where as the others just are there and go thru the motions and I don't enjoy those classes as much.
The coaches genuinely care about everyone in their class and push us to be our best while also providing feedback to ensure we are doing things correctly and safely.

I like everything about the workout. The trainers are helpful and motivating, the music keeps you moving and the workout templates get you to do things you wouldn't do on your own. Plus it feels like a little community. You get to know people attending the same classes. I enjoy the relationships I have built since I joined OTF.

Cross training-treadmill,rower, weights,TRX,as well as the energy and knowledge of the staff. You can go at your own pace and intensity, and it keeps me accountable to workout.
I love orange theory workouts! Everytime I feel like I got a hard workout in. It compliments all other activities-if your a runner, skier, biker or couch potato-it will improve your performance.
Never in a million years did I think I would enjoy a group fitness class like Orange Theory, especially being 45 and never having taken anything like this before. Thanks to my friend encouraging me to join, I’ve been working out here for 1.5 months, doing 2 classes a week, and I now moved up to 3 classes a week as my body craves the next work out! In this short time, I have achieved small goals, my favorite being the ability to jog, not just walk, on the treadmill, and I look forward to getting stronger and better! The best part is you focus on what You can do, no one is judging you because they are focused on themselves. The entire group from the front desk, to the coaches, and even the owner, John, are personable and encouraging, a pleasure to work with. Just remember…. It doesn’t get easier, you get stronger!
First class back since March 2020, felt right at home and the staff helped me get set up with everything from new heart rate monitor, classes, new equipment, etc.
I love how the classes are led by Coaches and suggest alternate options on the floor when members have limitations due to injury, etc. Such a great gym!
The coaches are super motivational and make showing up and working out enjoyable each and every time. I love that workouts can be adjusted for each individual person.
