I did not list some boxes and several other smaller items on my inventory. Who remembers every single thing? My movers where given a 1 hour and 45 minute packing time. After calling the office the movers were told to pack the items on the inventory and not to pack anything else if that took all of the scheduled time. I asked if I could pay for extra time if necessary. I was told that I couldn't because the truck was needed elsewhere. The rest of what remained would stay behind. Since I had sold that house and was moving to L A. that day, I was presented with a worrisome situation. How does that meet my needs? After loading the truck (there was time to load everything) the movers were told not to take a lunch break because they needed to get the truck back. At the storage facility The mover called The office and was told by the Meathead office to hurry and not go overtime. The truck was unloaded and the
contents moved into the storage locker. The whole process felt rushed and hasty. As a result a large, thick sheet of cut beveled glass that is part of an art quality coffee table was chipped as it was hurridly set down in the locker. I was told by the mover that I could file a claim, which was a long arduous process or I could deduct the estimated cost of the glass piece from the cost of the move. When I told him the piece cost at least $500, he assured me that would be the amount I could deduct. Since I was moving out of town that day it seemed to be the most fair and expedient way to handle the situation. The mover called the office to settle the bill and he was told I would receive only a $160 deduction. In summary, I felt like my needs were completely secondary to Meatheads scheduling needs and that my needs were, in fact, of very little importance to you. I also felt misled and manipulated into accepting an offer of compensation by an employee who turned out not to be empowered to make that offer and misled by the company's claim that damage issues were a high priority. My sense was that speed and maintaining a tight schedule was tbe ONLY priority. Needless to say, I won't recommend Meathead, nor will I use Meathead to move the contents of my locker to my new home in Templeton in August and I will not be using Meathead for the move from Templeton to Morro Bay in September, 2019.
In no way do I fault the movers who were hardworking and earnest. I fault management for pressuring the movers for speed and for neglecting the needs of a customer.
Efficient, professional, and very positive young men. Moving is always stressful, they had great attitudes and made it a much easier, more pleasant experience.
Your guys were fantastic. They were on time, pleasant, professional, caring, and understanding - they both exceeded my expectations. I could tell that Mike had loaded a POD before, and Jordan and Mike worked very well together as a great team. They are hard workers, they were careful with my goods, and I would highly recommend both of them to my friends, or anyone. They really respect your customers. Thank you so much for providing such a great service when your customers in Morro By needing to pack a POD for moving. They got everything into my POD and I was amazed at how they did it. Very experienced - they are "keepers" as employees. Thanks again.

I liked the girls who packed us, they were efficient timely and let my son "help" them pack, they were so pleasant. I also thought Tyler was very friendly and has wonderful customer service skills. I like the mission of this company too, that you promote health, wellness, success and values early on in teenagers lives. In this way, you're NOT just a moving company, you're also a humanitarian organization. I'm glad to give my money and pass on a good word to others when it comes to a company like yours. Thank you

I have to start by apologizing for being tardy with my review. I am just getting back to "normal", following my Mother's death. I was very pleased with Alex & Josh. They were the nicest young men, attending to every detail, and were extremely thoughtful. They were very efficient and timely (less time than was quoted and adjustments were made before they left) Needless to say, I would highly recommend Meathead Movers in the future.
Unheard of.....but true....upon arriving home that afternoon I found a beautiful floral arrangement from everyone at Meathead Movers, with a lovely note of condolence. I have to admit, I broke down in tears. It was more than thoughtful and so heartfelt. It certainly restores my faith of human kindness. I have shared this story so many times, and everyone is totally amazed and touched. Thank you once again, Name removed

I loved everything about utilizing Meathead Movers. Your customer service every step of the way was impeccable! From requesting a quote, to having a specialist come out and survey our space to the move itself. I felt like there was never a miscommunication.
