Well-organized process in terms of the estimate and packing service parts. We feel confident that moving day will go well.
Professionalism.
Here's the short list of why this was literally the worst moving experience I have ever had. And I've moved dozens of times:
1. My contract was for two 24 foot trucks. On moving day, yesterday, December 20, I was told minutes before they were to arrive that they only had one truck. They assured me that the second truck would arrive later. IT NEVER DID. They had to make two trips to complete the move.
2. The movers never put floor protectors down on the origin location. I had to ask THREE TIMES for them to put floor protectors on the destination location. This was very important as it is a brand new house. They moved almost half the truck in the house without floor protection because they cardboard flooring they needed was in the middle of the truck.
3. They broke a piece of an antique hutch that is very old and worth thousands of dollars. I HAVE YET TO HEAR WHAT THE PROCESS IS TO BE COMPENSATED FOR MY DAMAGED PROPERTY.
3. There was no hustle on the part of the moving team. I maybe saw them "jog" a couple of times throughout the entire day.
4. I had to ask numerous times for items to be put on the truck because they kept forgetting.
5. I had to ask them to turn off loud music that was using vulgar language. I'm not a prude, but give me a break. Totally unprofessional.
6. As a result of not getting my second truck, the entire move ended up being 10 hours. That was easily 2-3 hours longer than it should have been. It was dark by the time they were filling the second load which made it very difficult to see what was going on.
SO, WHAT CAN YOU DO TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT?
First, I am outraged that I am being charged the full "not to exceed" price given the fact that only one truck was sent instead of two, thus extending the move by hours. You've got to be kidding.
Second, I need to know how to get compensation for my damaged property.
Third, better vetting of the teams that you sent out. While the men did ultimately do the work, they did not have lunches (we provided them with pizza) and I honestly did not see "hustle" on their part. They took a 45-minute lunch, which is fine. But when you minus the 45-minute lunch, plus the extra two to three hours that was added to the move because they had to do two trips, their work day (and mine) was ten hours. For a move that literally less than 7 miles from destination to destination. That was was absurdly too long.
The movers were on time, friendly, and efficient! It was a stress free move and I owe it all to them! Thanks, Adam and Kevin!
Very kind and courteous team. They provided a feedback form at competition, but they handed it to me and asked me to return it to them. That's the worst way to provide feedback - why would I give neg or constructive criticism with the movers standing there and asking for the feedback form back. I would feel terrible if I wrote something negative about them.
You may want to have your processes adjusted for that, assuming you're actually wanting feedback to help better your company.
The biggest feedback that I wanted to share with management was, the movers were not careful of their own safety. They didn't use the truck elevator many times and just jumped off the platform while holding heavy things. They were doing their best to meet our time requirement, which as a client, was SOO great! But, if I was a manager, I'd be SUPER concerned about that part.
Great feedback other than that!

Be more prepared, having adequate tools, aiming for more efficient work. The mover spent almost one hour to figure out how to disassemble the queen bed!
1) Very friendly across the board.
2) Reasonable prices
3) Great exploitation of student labor ;-)
4) Team has the right "can do" attitude needed to overcome obstacles
5) Great work ethic
They were very pleasant to work with and handled my things with care. At times they were actually running back and forth. I will highly recommend Meathead Movers to my family and friends in the future!

Quick, courteous, clean - and safe. Two associates were fantastic today - 10/10. Makes moving (and cleanup afterwards) so much easier.
Easy communication, nice people, quick, and reasonable. I wish you guys offered short term services too like for an hour or two to move heavy thing around the house or from/to car!!
They were on time, did there job. No issues. Super hot.
The movers were awsome and while there was misunderstanding over some things from the booking process the movers fixed what they could about situation. They took what would have taken me a week or more by myself or with a friend and did nearly all of it in 4 hours. Having a 2 story house they were life and back savers.

I was very disappointed with your survey. The question asked if they deserved a tip it should seriously be removed. I barely had the funds to pay for the move let alone to tip each boy that worked. Yes they deserved a tip they did a great job wish I was at an income level where I can do these things but I'm not! I felt obligated to give then each a tip after answering that question yes. That is my only complaint . $80 poorer in Auberry.
your teams are courteous and professional
the movers forgot several items i asked them to move and, even after reminding them to grab certain things, they still left them behind, so I had to move these very heavy items myself despite having asked the movers to do so.
All the boys are very courteous and helpful
First off they were late , I did not know they were going to take a lunch break 2 hours into the job. And some legs on two of my end tables were removed that should not have been. I feel like I was quoted rather high for what I got . And my boyfriend even had to help them which should have made it faster I do not believe I had that much stuff to begin with.
The two gentlemen were nice. I just think it was overpriced
