Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The packing and moving went very smoothly and with great attitudes and interaction. I was impressed by the organizational efforts from start to finish.

We would highly recommend Meathead Movers and will definitely use them for our next move! Our moving team was extremely professional throughout the move and kept up a positive attitude even in the face of some challenges. I felt entirely comfortable trusting our team with our belongings. Aside from our wonderful team, I also highly recommend the company as a whole. Our customer service experience was top notch - lots of communication prior to and after our move made me feel comfortable that they knew what they were doing. Additionally, I really appreciated that they sent over a list of our team members’ names with photos so we knew exactly who was going to be our homes. Lastly, moving in the time of Covid has been stressful. Everyone wore masks and kept their distance and was very respectful of our family in this regard. Can’t recommend this company enough!

Quick and friendly service
Use of pads and the rental process was not clearly explained for the packing/ loading process. It was thankfully rectified after complaining and discussion. Thanks for that.
Timely, courteous, careful and helpful. The only thing extra that other movers in the past have done for us is to place a runner in high traffic area to better protect our flooring.
They were there, did the work and the charge was reasonable. Because of a quarantine situation, I was not present, but my staff gave glowing reports on the courtesy, efficiency and good attitude of the crew.

I recently needed some heavy furniture moved from my garage to my second floor. On very short notice, and on a very busy day, Meathead Movers were able to come out the same day I called them and got it done! Thank you so much!

Arrived on time. Very care to wrap and protect items. Packed trucks to prevent load from moving. Drivers were very polite and concerned about our property.

The guys were great and worked hard, but they should have tools and the proactiveness and nouse to do basic jobs. They could not get the bed frame apart as there were stripped screws (a common occurence, I am sure). They said they were going to have to leave the bed behind! What? That's not what a professional outfit does. They are proactive in finding a way to solve the problem. So they went on lunch, and *I* did the research online and went to the hardware store, and *I* fixed the problem - in 5 minutes flat after they spend 30 min trying to get the bed out in one whole piece. They should have a tool set and be willing to work it out. I was really unimpressed by this frankly.
And also, it is not cool to ring the client morning of the job and say that you are short handed (yes, I get covid makes things hard) and will have to reschedule. You do not reschedule moves! You find a way to get someone to make it work. Which you guys did, eventually - but not without causing stress on an already hard day for clients. That was unecessary.
There was an accident on the freeway yesterday which caused a delay in our move. There was a point where I was able to last minute find a company to do our move closer to our original time slot and when I called to ask if I can cancel with full refund of my deposit, the associate assured me that we would complete my move on that day with flexibility for additional 10% of what was listed in my inventory. Our original appointment time was at 11am and the movers arrived after 2pm. To save on time, they chose to not disassemble furniture but this also meant taking up more space in the truck. Ultimately, items from our list were not moved. Furthermore, I made it very clear my highest priority was to get my two kids cribs (I have 23 month old twins) set up so they could sleep in their new home after the move. The movers did not disassemble the cribs during the move which resulted in two cribs outside of their bedroom. They did not fit within the door and my husband and I were left to disassemble and reassemble two cribs for my kids to go to sleep - while watching two toddlers and managing small screws and bolts. It was a nightmare. I understand there are contracts and we cannot control traffic but I would have appreciated a much more pragmatic approach and the feeling that we were being helped to move our home and not the feeling that Meathead movers was just trying to get the bare minimum done. Very disappointed in the judgement calls made by this company and definitely would never recommend to friends or family because moving is stressful enough and it would have been nice to work w a moving company who had a little more empathy and care.
I loved how friendly and helpful everyone was from the first time I contacted you. The follow up and reminders were great. But most of all, my movers were awesome! Besides being professional and treating my furniture as if it were their own, I LOVED that they asked "what else can we help you with?" I would highly highly recommend you.
I am very disappointmed in the service you provided.
I specifically noted the requirement that my 79 year old mother and 85 year old father be socially distanced from your workers repacking boxes to be sent to me in the Philippines.
The three teenagers you detailed to the job couldn't lift the 30 pound boxes to do the job. My parents had to do it. Not only exposing themselves but also exerting physical effort they should not be doing.
They also did an incredibly poor job of taping the boxes. The shipping company is going to have to redo it all, at a further cost to me.
As a final insult the girls asked for a tip after working 2 hours of the 3 hours charged. That request was refused.
When I heard about what happened I was furious.
What I would like is that 1/3 of the $710 fee is returned to my parents as compensation.
I am being generous on this. If something like this happened to my business those girls would have walked out with no money.
