Instructors are not only masters of their art, they all know how to maintain a fun yet disciplined training environment with no egos. That is hard to find in my experience with the martial arts.

I love how friendly and inclusive the dojo is. I think all the instructors are excellent and i think that the classes are planned out well so that there is a logical progression as you get higher in your rank.
The kids enjoy the classes and are learning a lot.
However, we are not too happy about the summer hours at the Wilmette location. Having the little dragons at 4p and the first level kids class at 5:10 is not efficient. There is not much that can be done in between the classes when you have kids in both levels. I hope this schedule does not continue into the fall.
It is a very family centered dojo. There is fun for every member.

Sensei Jaime. He's a great teacher. Over the past year we've been at the Evanston dojo, I've seen kids go from bouncing off the walls to being able to pay attention and follow directions. He instills discipline without shaming kids. And he remembers EVERYONE's name. I find that amazing.
On a side note, I realize FMA is not an "office" per se. But, it might be more seemly if the staff could wear more modest clothing, say shorts with a couple of inches of inseam.
