The actual hands on massage is getting shorter and shorter. Now it is more like 40 minutes instead of 50 minutes. I take no more than 5 minutes to dress and undress. My hands on massage should be at least 55 minutes.

The massage itself was quite good, I just felt a little misled because I was told initially when I booked and bought the gift certificate it was a 60 minute massage. I was early just to make sure I got my full hour because I hadn't had a massage in a while and wanted to make sure I took advantage of the entire hour by not being late. But I only got 50 minutes. I get that you have to get dressed and undressed and that he wanted to talk to me a few minutes but it shouldn't take a whole 10 extra minutes or they should book a little longer in between each session to get your full 60 minutes. Also, this is the standard policy, so know that if you're booking a 60 minute massage, you'll only ever get 50. Apparently, it's in very small print on the bottom of their screen (misleading). Also, I left a message with the front desk person to have the manager call me because I wanted to let them know how I felt, particularly being a new client. Sadly, they haven't called me so that also tells me they really don't care about keeping clients. So, not sure if I'd go back to be honest. But Cole overall as a masseuse (the foot massage could be improved) was quite good.
Melissa, We are very sorry that there was some confusion about your session time. We clearly state in all of our advertising, on our website, our in store menu boards, the booking confirmation emails and on the intake form that you signed that all sessions include time for consultations and dressing. We even covered this in person that came with you, who had arrived earlier than you. I am sorry that we didn't have the same conversation with you as we always try to be totally transparent with our policies. The reason that we do allow for this time, is that we strongly feel that we need to understand what is bringing you in, so that we can customize the session for you and to provide advice on proper homecare and repeat visit recommendations based on what is specific to you. The environment is very professional and relaxing. The team is knowledgeable, very skilled, and listens to my needs.
The front desk staff now is not good. They messed up my appointment that caused me to have to reschedule after I showed up which has never happened before and also caused to to have to drive back another day which in turn messed up my entire weekend. At the time of check in on my second arrival I waited for 20 minutes with nobody at the reception area while she was on the phone outside. Very unprofessional. I let my massage therapist know about it because it almost made me late!

On one of the coldest days in years, the doors were open and staff welcoming. Inez was incredible, working out stress knots and doing an amazing job on the rest of my body. I highly recommend LaVida for your next massage.

My person started late, 20 min past when we were supposed to and assured me at the beginning we would go at least 10 min past the end time (60 min massage). We didn’t, we ended at the original time. So - appt at 245, didn’t get to the room until 305 undressed by 310 and massage ended at 345. That’s not close to 60 min and I understand time is removed for short consult and dressing. She did a good job and someone hadn’t shown up that day so she was filling in. I didn’t complain to her at all, she was nice.
