I just had an amazing experience with my new favorite technician Mark! He came to my house today because of a grub problem I am currently having even though I purchased the grub control back in April. Mark did such a great job at the following:
-He called me and told me he was one hour from arriving at my house
-Friendly customer service
-Professionally handeled the my concerns with past technicians
-Thorough lawn evaluation
-Educated me on several aspects to a healthy lawn
-Thorough grub control treatment of the entire lawn
-Did a great job trying to plus sell me on additional TruGreen services
Mark is my new favorite technician and I would like to have him, and only him, care for my lawn.
Here is the email I sent earlier this week and because of Marks customer service skills, he made it right:
My wife and I bought our first home in June 2016 in Ladera Ranch. We were so excited to be homeowners and take pride of ownership in both in the interior and exterior of our home.
I have always wanted to be ‘that guy’ who is always working in his yard and to make my lawn the best and most desired lawn in the neighborhood. Due to time, money, and the constant drought California seems to be in, my wife and I almost decided to install artificial turf in our front yard. Over much discussing, we both thought it would be best to have sprinklers and sod installed. We are so glad we did and have loved having real grass in our yard.
We then decided to make the most of our lawn and hire TruGreen to be our lawn care specialists. We wanted to leave it to the professionals in lawn care to ensure we would always have the most green, thick and healthy lawn in the neighborhood. We have since prepaid for two seasons and have added grub control each time we have started a new season. For the most part, we have been very pleased with your services. However, we have been extremely disappointed in a few areas that I think you and your team should be made aware of.
First of all, a technician recently treated two areas of grab grass in my front yard. The results of that was:
The grab grass stayed green and appeared to have never died
A large area around the grab grass died and turned completely brown
After making TruGreen aware of this, they sent a technician who ripped out the grab grass (in both areas) and all the dead brown grass resulting in a large empty dirt spot where green grass once thrived
As a result of this service, my lawn does not look as pristine and healthy as it once did. In addition, there has been yet one more incident that I would like to make you aware of. Recently, crows have uprooted and dug up several parts of my lawn making it look like a complete disaster in search of grub worms. I new this would happen and that is why I paid TruGreen an additional fee to treat my lawn with grub control so this would not happen. Either the product did not work or the technician did not fully treat my lawn as was advertised and expected.
Having TruGreen be my lawn care provider gave me the comfort and peace of mind that my lawn was in the hands of experinced professionals who would assist me in make my dream of having the most green, thick and healthly lawn in the neighborhood. Instead, I am left with large dirt areas in my lawn and areas that have been uprooted due to crows digging for grubs.
I hope TruGreen with acknowledge their mistakes and take responsibility at making this right. I want to be a TruGreen customer for life; however, if this continues I will be forced to warn my friends, family and neighborhood of my experience and go with a local lawn care competitor.

Otis does a great job when he is onsite. He knocks on my door and educates me on what he is going to do and what results I can expect. He also answers all my questions with a smile on his face and with complete professionalism. Send Otis to my house every time please!!!!
Dependability and flexibility
It is easy to talk to someone by phone. The agents are friendly and helpful. I can depend on you that you will do as you say you will.
My lawn is now green again, the people that come out are friendly and efficient.
Initially a little difficulty in getting provider out to service. But after first service, service always prompt and effective.
Service, and attention to detail of exactly what our trees and shrubs need is fantastic. As long as we have trees we will depend on this service to keep them healthy.
TruGreen does everything you hired them to do. They arrive on time and treat the lawn. Thanks to TruGreen, our lawn is green and lush again. I didn't think it was possible after years of drought and frequent visits from friendly and hungry bunny rabbits.
We have had no mosquitos in our backyard or around the house since we had TruGreen's mosquito abatement service.
