It works at the childs speed and level and the teachers are really good with my child. I also like that I get to choose when my child comes and when he is not available which means he can still be involved in school sports and clubs as well as being able to get the extra help he needs.

My son took math class in sylvan for about 40 hours, his math level and confidence improved rapidly in 3 months. After the class, he become a winner of math tournament (He got 5th, 8th, 9th and 17th places in the past 4 math tourments, and I believe he will win another medal in the next tournament held next week.)
The way of teaching in sylvan is very special. I do not know how they do it, but I believe it is the best.

I like that my son feels comfortable with the teachers and he doesn't fight me to come and learn. But I think the think that I like the most is that when I ask to change or add or what ever it might be, it is always answered and done with out hassle.
I liked the fact that an evaluation was done on my son to determine his needs and the approach in which that was done.
