I cannot say enough positive things about my CorePower Yoga experience in Westwood. Lauren's classes are so challenging, but also fun with awesome energy and music! I got such a great workout every time. Will definitely be back!

Instructors and energy

I love all the instructors at my Westwood studio, they are all lovely, friendly, knowledgeable, caring and all over awesome

i do wish there was a way to call my studio. you can only call the main 1800 number. i had covid abs i had to cancel last minute which i think would be a waiver of the fee but i couldn’t call!

The yoga instructor gave instructions clearly and at reasonable speed and the room temperature was not set too high

I’ve been a member for a decade and feel lucky to have 3 studios to choose from. An hour at Corepower is always well spent.

The people from the front desk, teachers, facilities, and parking availability! Especially the teachers!

I appreciate teachers like Katelyn and Bridget , especially Katelyn whom I will miss, because they compliment my practice and they give me plenty of room to modify my practice.

Hello! This is Name removed, one of the regulars at CorePower Yoga Westwood.

Westwood is my primary studio, and I love it there. Here is some feedback to improve the studio:

Class availability: I understand that scheduling during the pandemic is difficult, but to the extent you can include more sculpt classes (especially the ones that have been recently cancelled) and also fusion classes, that would be nice. There aren’t many classes scheduled on a day-to-day basis.

Class norms: I think CPY needs to reiterate and enforce class norms that in previous years were more strictly enforced. These include:

- Classes starting and ending on time

- Not having people bring in all sorts of stuff into the room when they should be leaving it outside (e.g., cell phones, shoes, backpacks). I find this very distracting and it makes the room look messy

- Not having people leaving class early and putting away their weights during Savasana. This is distracting and takes away from the spirit of the exercise. Perhaps a solution is before class starts, have all of the people who need to leave early be placed near the door so it is not a distraction to the people who can stay the whole time

- Room temperature: If possible, please have the room on the hotter and more humid side. Sometimes the class feels cold and the heaters do not seem to work.

Men’s bathroom: Please consistently have Q-tips, deodorant, and mouthwash stocked regularly. I have been noticing lately that this has not been the case.

Parking time limit: I realize that this may not be possible, but if CPY is able to negotiate free parking for 100 or 105 minutes instead of 90 minutes, this would be very helpful. This likely contributes to people wanting to leave class early.

It was my first time taking Karina's class - and she is wonderful! I could feel the effort and attention she put into making sure her yoga class was an experience for everyone. The studio itself was nice, a much better experience than the Wilshire studio.

I really enjoy CorePower. The instructors are very knowledgeable and bring a lot of energy to the classes.
