The pool is clean and warm, and never overcrowded. The aqua fitness classes are fun, intense but never too much! The changing facilities are always clean and I love the sauna and steam room.

Great gym, but there are some negatives creeping in
Parking is becoming a real issue especially in the morning at weekends
The gym feels overcrowded on a lot of occasions
Gym etiquette is diminishing as people are training in walkways, slamming weights & training in groups of 3-4 people while hogging equipment
What is of concern is that staff don’t correct any of the gym etiquette issues and members are now talking openly about these issues.
Hopefully these issues can be actively addressed & things can return to the high standards that Westpark have set over many years

The staff are well qualified and enthusiastic when motivating classes to get the most out of them.
The staff are always helpful and friendly. It's like a big family. I absolutely love the pool and the easy access to aqua classes when it's suits me
The entire business is so well managed
I like how it is quite client led, the freedom to do your own thing, or to ask for a programme or to get a bit of advice on something in passing. The classes I have been to have been excellent, Body Balance in particular is a lovely class no matter who the instructor is, the pace is just right and the instructions are always very clear. I like being able to come and go freely and to have accountability with the coach who set my programme is great too.

Great variety and availability of classes
Could really do with a Smith machine and weightlifting platform though. Need a proper platform for deadlifting and a smith machine is a must in any gym!

Always a greeting from staff when u you arrive. Pool and gym are kept clean and tidy. Calm and friendly atmosphere. Lovely to spend time here.
