Student Testimonials
I enjoyed the classes, especially the Core Power 1 and Sculpt.
Great classes! Fun music, very friendly teachers and the space is just awesome!
good classes, good yoga clothes
I like the intimate calming studios and the boutique. Also having complimentary hair ties and Mars on the first day is very nice!
Great facility in a convenient location. The teachers are accommodating and encouraging.
Great teachers, beautiful studio space
Clean, friendly and good for beginners.
Fun great workout friendly people
Variety of classes
Everything! From the classes to the teachers, everyone is upbeat, fun and happy.
Class hours are convenient, location and instructors are great. Would recommend capping classes at a smaller number, right now you try to stuff too many people into a studio at once. If not, then mark the floor with tape (as other studios do) to indicate where mats should be placed to avoid delaying class start because of having to shift over to make more room
first hot flow yoga in a convenient place in dc
Great studio and great classes. Everyone is so friendly.
I love the energy of Corepower classes... motivating instructors and music make all the difference.
It is by far the best yoga studio in DC. The classes are challenging and the instructors are encouraging.
CPY is a warm, welcoming community with consistently great workouts!
Friendly staff, clean facilities, and awesome workout!!!!
I love the location. I work in Bethesda and often go to yoga there. When I've wanted to meet friends downtown, I've had to choose - yoga or happy hour - now I can more easily do both.
Love the classes and the community at CorePower
I thought the front desk associates were friendly, helpful, and efficient. I thought the space was clean and nice. The instructor was helpful and the pacing of the class was great. I wish overall there was more space in CorePower Dupont because so many people come to the evening classes so it is like a traffic jam in the hallways and changing room.
The studio is brand new, clean, and extremely well-run. This location Would be a phenomenal introduction for newcomers into the world of Core Power yoga!
I have never taken a yoga class before and the instructor was very welcoming and kind. Really enjoyed my first class!
The studio is extremely clean and calming. The teachers are wonderful and it's a great workout!
Everyone was very friendly and helpful when I arrived and registered. The class was great and very beginner friendly. I've taken yoga on and off for almost 2 years, but thought the explanation and example of some of the moves were the best I've had yet!
Everyone is super nice and welcoming! Really appreciated the instruction and LOVE the fast pace.
Great instructor, clean studio.
I've only been to one class so far but the experience was very positive. The instructor was friendly and helpful - she saw I was slipping and gave me her towel.
You know what to expect (but each instructor has variance); clean studios with amenities; convenient locations (finally....)
I love the intensity of the classes. Instructors do a good job ensuring quality and form. The workout is challenging and keeps me focused. I am also impressed by the fellow yogis in the room. Everyone seems committed to a good workout.
The only suggestion I would make for the new Dupont location is to foster a sense of community. It feels very corporate-like and there are few smiles between staff and students and students and students. I think this is the least friendly Core Power location I've been to. The front desk/instructors are not talkative with new students and the first time I arrived at the studio, I didn't get a tour or a welcome. I was signed up quickly at the front desk and even had to ask where the women's locker room was. Furthermore, maybe it's because of the holidays, but the staff seem VERY talkative with each other. As students are trickling in to class, staff are more interested in greeting each other and talking loudly and catching up. It doesn't feel like a brand new studio to students or those who are just joining/trying out the space for the first time because it feels like everyone else already knows each other.
The gym is very clean, welcoming, has great amenities, and the instructors are some of the best I've had in a yoga class. They give good instruction, demonstrations, 1-1 help, but they aren't too overbearing. Definitely one of the better yoga studios in D.C.
