I cannot say enough positive things about this program. Our child has anxiety with regard to schooling because he does not pick things up as fast as the other kids. He has no hesitation when going to Mathnasium, and actually enjoys it! That alone is worth it. To boot, I am certain that when school starts again, he is going to be in a much better place than he would be without Mathnasium.
It is a very good and friendly place that I like and you can even earn points to put on a card to get prizes.
When I first heard some kids at Mathnasium say that they ask their parents to take them there more often, I didn’t quite believe it. Now my kids ask when is the next day they get to return there! And my kids feel like they are mastering previously challenging concepts in a fun way, and I’m not the one stressing about how to help them without losing my patience or being too pushy. I’m not sure how your teachers do what they do and make it fun, but keep up the great work!

Ruben and the whole staff there are great with kids and not only know the material, but can teach it as well. In a world of 20:1 in private and 30+:1 in public schools, you really can’t beat the 1:1 they get here. As a homeschooling parent with a degree in physics and minor in applied mathematics I still rely on Mathnasium for my kids because it is that good.
My son loves attending. I am not sure about his retention and learning. We have only been attending for a month now.
We have been very pleased with the progress our student has made & have been very impressed with the instructors. She enjoys the classes & looks forward to them.
4 months since our daughter started studying at the Mathnasium of Raleigh Hills and she's still happy to go there! She filled up her gaps in mathematical knowledge and now working on her school level program, her math grades at school have improved and I see that she feels more confident now, that's what we were looking for when signed her up! The only thing I wish, is that you add physics to your curriculum! Thank you for the great job you do with our kids!

It's clear when you walk in that this is a math center. All work tables, math art on the walls, no waiting room (which is totally fine), indivitualized workbooks, 3-4 tutors ready to help. They give each child an assessment and 1 free trial session before you commit. The assessment is very thourough and helps them figure out where to start your child and how to build their lesson plan. They re-assess each child regularly and use the results to determine how to build their next lesson plan. They also have a reward system which works really well for my child.
My daughter is in 5th grade and was feeling very discouraged about school in general becasue she was having such a tough time with math.
She has been attending tutoring sessions 4x per week starting Feb 2019. After 2 weeks, her confidence lifted and she was much happier to go to school. Her school teacher has also noticed a difference. She has already improved the early elementary math skills that she was lacking and is motivated and determined to get on track and prepare for middle school math. She is super pumped about math now and is always bummed when her tutoring session is up.
I think any parent savors moments like these when your child say they wish they could do more math or are excited to go to school.
We started with Mathnasium for my middle daughter 2 years ago to build her confidence in Math and to fill in some math gaps. We recently came back for my youngest daughter (similar reason), but all three of my children wanted to do it. They feel so good after an hour & really enjoy the guides, they feel accomplished and math continues throughout our day with Math riddles. We spend a lot of time with sport activities so it is nice as a parent to feel that they are also spending a little extra time with exercising their brain.

Once again I am happy to recommend Mathnasium. My daughter struggled for several years and since attending Mathnasium is blossoming in math.
The program director was very wlecoming and knowledgeable and made my children feel very comfortable. I appreciate the clear objectives and systematic approach to teaching and the progress monitoring and timely feedback. The instructors are helpful and friendly.
Mathnasium has been great for my three kids. They have very different ability levels, and Mathnasium has met them all and supported them where they are. They have gained confidence, which is valuable to them in school. They also have had exposure to effective instructors and have logged hours of practice time. They all enjoy going to their sessions. I know we will be Mathnasium members for a long time.
Mathnasium has been great for my 3 kids! They actually like learning math now that we are going to Mathnasium. The staff is top notch and very respectful and attentive to the kids while helping them gain independence in their math skills and reasoning. I would highly recommend Mathnasium!

My son enjoys learning math at Mathnasium. It's a great environment to learn math especially when you struggle with it. We are new to this center. It's only been a month. We signed up for 6 months and will have a better feedback as the time goes.
The tutors, or should I say coaches?, are fantastic! Both my boys already love math and had been asking to do more so I finally relented and have been delighted that I did. They request time at Mathnasium almost every day and are disappointed that they only get to go once a day! I love that the Mathnasium coaches continue to grow my children's enthusiasm for math!
