Common Core really threw our kid. When we started here, Mathnasium didn't just 'brush up' her math skills, they firmly grounded every aspect of her understanding of the mathmatical concepts.
Once she grasped the concepts, she really moved quickly at Mathnasium, and they let her go as fast as she wanted. Her class at school just started multiplication. At Mathnasium, she is done with that, has almost finished long division, and is working now with improper fractions. Because she is already very familiar with the topics, math is no longer a dreaded subject at school for her and she loves showing us her grades.
Mathnasium also helped substantially increase our child's math MAP scores, from her starting 67% to the current 93%, over the last 2 years she has been at the center AND she likes going!!!
What better recommendation can I give?
The people at Mathnasium are great! They helped my daughter understand all the things not taught clearly in school. I love that she can do her own homework there with guidance along with learn3 and reviewing other things. I really like that we get a monthly report card showing the progress made. Each day there's another report of things done and understood, or not understood. Great place. Expensive, but totally worth it.

The staff at Mathnasium are awesome! My son is learning so much and really likes going there to work on math.
Spending time making sure every concept is fully grasped before moving to the next one, aiding, not enabling. Having regular assessments every few months which spell out where my child is mathmatically strong and goals, based on those assessments, to strengthen up the weak spots. A full hour +, up to five days a week, of dedicated attention toward helping my child excel in math, using positive reinforcement so my child actually looks forward to going and works hard to finish all the work..... You just can't beat that!
My 12 y o daughter will tell any/all that Mathnasium has been a large part of her improved understanding and appreciation of math over the past year. Her standardized math scores as well as class grades have both increased (she makes all As but now "higher"). Shout out to Matthew and esp Ms Eli.

Mathnasium has been wonderful for my son! He has struggled in math since the pandemic. He is now making 100s on his quizzes and test! Awesome group over in Aiken!
Matt and his staff at the Aiken Facility have been fantastic to work with! My wife and I were pulling our hair out trying to help our son with math. Taking him to Mathnasium to learn has improved his grade in class and drastically lowered our aggravation levels. We highly recommend this facility!!
Our daughter has struggled with math all of her school career. We enrolled her into the Mathnasium program during her 4th year of grade school, and saw her D’s in math go to B’s!
The staff work hard to ensure our child understands the concepts being taught, grasps the knowledge being taught and demonstrates her understanding before moving on to the next level.
We will continue to keep her in the Mathnasium program until she graduates high school!

My granddaughter struggled with math and did not want to attempt it. I tried working with her, but she more or less tuned me out. My son put her in Mathnasium and she loves it! I don't know what they did to her, but her grades have improved tremendously in math!
We enrolled our daughter in Mathnasium in the 4th grade when she struggled with Math, and parental assistance was losing its effectiveness. We immediately saw the positive effects of the Mathnasium program, as her grades improved and, more importantly, her attitude about Math also greatly improved. She is now a high school senior, loves Math and is consistently ranked at the top of her Math classes. All of this is a result of the outstanding team at the Aiken Mathnasium.
I have seen great progress with both of my children! They enjoy math and they have gained confidence in their math skills!

Our son spent the month of June attending Mathnasium daily. As a long-time educator and administrator, I was hesitant about investing in this program, but it was an absolute success. Joey never complained about attending, each day we saw growth in attitude, confidence, and even attempting real life math type questions for the first time ever. Our son stated that the atmosphere was a place where he was not stressed and not afraid to ask questions. He says he plans on trying to take that feeling back into the classroom. After 20 visits, we most definitely highly recommend Mathnasium. It is worth the cost.
My child loves it and looks forward to their time there. The employees are great communicators.
