My husband and I have been so impressed with the Aiken Mathnasium office. The site manager's professionalism was immediately obvious.
SInce then, he has kept up w my child's (tween) status/progress month-to-month over the past year or so. We receive detailed updates every month re her attendance/tasks/success. We plan to continue her Mathnasium attendance as she moves into 7th grade.
Our tween has taken some of her GT homework assignments into Mathnasium; the staff has helped her complete it the same day.
While homework is a nice task to get done, the better point is that the instructors actually investigated how she was being taught to ensure consistency in approach. If it appeared she didn't quite get the first or second standard "way", they then also offered other approaches.
After success, they also showed her how to then see how the 'original other way' worked. I find that to be really great as it helped her return to her class mindset and learn their "first" way.
I am very grateful for Mathnasium. May we please start a Readmasium?

I have been most impressed with the Mathnasium approach. It’s obvious the company has validated its techniques and is well-honed to best assist students on an individual basis.
My two younger children attend without any grousing. That is amazing in itself. One has ADHD but makes As in math. The other is in GT but shucks math to the point of high Bs this year. She is back to an A.
I do recommend the program to parents at my workplace (peds practice). I wish there was a readmasium.

Mathnasium has been an amazing resource for my family and I. Before we started, my children dreaded their math homework and would be in tears each night. We have only been going a month, but already I see a difference in both my children's confidence in math. They get excited to go to mathnasium and get help with homework and complete punch cards to earn rewards. As a family, our quality time has improved since we no longer have arguments over completing math and can enjoy our evenings together without the stress that math homework would bring both my children and myself!

This has been the best decision made in my child’s education! There’s so much attention given to the child and their specific learning style along with the academic plan they prepare for the year. The environment is welcoming , safe and accommodating. My child wants to attend Mathnasium every day ! He has learned to love math as much as anything else. It’s definitely worth the investment .
