We have been extremely happy with our experience at the South Pasadena Mathnasium. Nathan and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Nathan is so accommodating - he always help make sure that we can schedule our sessions and always follows through on emails questions and makes sure that the kids are where they need to be to challenge themselves while still enjoying math. My kids absolutely love Mathnasium and can’t wait for the next session. They love all of the tutors as well. I’ve already been singing the praises of the South Pasadena location to other friends who have joined.

My grandson who was in the 4th grade was doing very poorly in math. A test he took in school before starting Mathnasium was 60, and that was about the average grade he was receiving. A few months after starting Mathnasium, he greatly improved in math and his final report card showed a 3 out of 4. Not only did Mathnasium help him so much with his math, but because he was doing so much better in school, it also helped improve his self esteem, which, to me, is just as important.

All the instructors are very helpful and patient.
Ideally it would be helpful to see examples of some of the problems that the student is working through each session. The list of names of the topics covered in the summary progress report at times are not familiar to us. Not sure if parents are able to review their binders.

My daughter loves Mathnasium. The teachers are great and the material is challenging. They are also give very good personal feedback and are flexible about changing appointment times to accommodate us.
