Wonderful Director and team! Staff do a great job of creating a positive learning environment that my 3rd and 6th grader feel comfortable and encouraged to return to this Center for their visits 3x a week! I appreciate the correspondence from the Director and Assistant Director, who are always responsive, polite, helpful and try their best to be flexible in last minute schedule change requests. They are receptive to input from students on various incentives and have really communicated their interest in helping to support children in helping them succeed in Math in a positive way. We are really so happy here and glad to be a part of this Center!
Matthew, the South Pasadena center director, is very professional and my child loves going to Mathnasium. The assessment is very helpful and the customized lesson plan is just we are looking for.

Great place but very pricey.
I love the growth oriented culture at Mathnasium and how attentive they are to my son’s progress. I’ve heard from my son that the instructors are personable and kind, and patient when explaining things he doesn’t understand. The office staff and directors are also great - very prompt in their communication and accommodating to last minute changes. (Please do not use my real name to post)

My child really loves math thanks to the support she receives at Mathnasium. She is now excited about learning math at school because she feels confident with the skills and foundation developed at Mathnasium and is more prepared for learning new math concepts.
I'm not entirely clear on how good the teachers are at teaching. I have no doubt they are all great in math, but being able to teach math is a whole different kind of skill. It's pricey also. BUT I will continue going because my kids love going there and doing math work sheets. And they were not math "enthusiasts" before attending Mathnasium. So that to me speaks volumes.
My sons math grade has certainly improved. Mathnasium has definitely built confidence in his math skills. He still has improvements to make but overall you have met our expectations.

Matthew is a great director at South Pasadena location and he has a wonderful team staff. The owner, Mark Yutan is an awesome guy. My daughter has been with Mathnasium for 8 months. She used to be too emotional when doing math homework but she started loving math after 2 months studied in Mathnasium. That’s a huge improvement. Thank you Mathnasium!
We love Matthew and the staff here. They are organized and friendly and they have been so instrumental in keeping my daughter on track with her 4th / 5th grade math after a rough patch post-pendemic, she has completely caught up.
