La Costa Mathnasium is a great experience for all children. Their dedication to enhancing Math skills of our children/teens is their primary focus. Our grandchildren have been going to La Costa for two years and their math scores have gone from a grade C to A and B +. The teachers are kind, soft spoken, patient and able to break down the math problems in a way that the children are able to understand. They help kids with their homework, explaining and analyzing their mistakes. Their learning techniques match common core criteria and beyond. They use an incentive program that provides prizes to the younger kids, and they love it.

The start has been good.
My daughter actually doesn't mind and sometimes even LIKES coming to your place to do math. This is a kid who used to cry occasionally when doing math, has little to no confidence in math, and dreads it from school. With you guys, it's not a struggle to get her to go! I don't know what you're doing, but keep it up haha. Her confidence is already so much better after only 3-4 visits! :)
Ryan Irwin at La Costa is a fabulous director. He is professional, courteous, and proactive with my children’s learning. The rest is the staff also makes learning harder math skills more fun. Karen is also great!

My son really benefited from the one-on-one support with his homework and general math. At mathnasium he could ask questions and get the re-inforcement there may not be time for in class. We found a system and tutors at mathnasium that really supported his learning needs in a positive way. It was always difficult to get him to leave at the end of a session, he wanted to stay much longer and really enjoyed the reward system. We would love to return to mathnasium but our schedule doesn't allow it this term. We really enjoy their summer programs and plan to do one again.

Amazing, I love all the instructors. They have a passion for math and a heart for kids. I have one child with a learning disability and one that could be in advanced math if he applied himself. They help both of them with techniques specific to their learning styles. My kids feel encouraged and excited about math!
My daughter has been going Mathnasium in la costa about 2 years. Now, her strength is Math in her school.
The staff is awesome and the kids have become very efficient at solving math problems. The actually wish they could have lessons everyday!
The staff is great and very helpful! My kids have become math wiz's in their classrooms...always the first to finish and help other friends with their work! The kide are here for enhancement, and their mental capacity and efficiency has developed even more.

I like the methods that you use. As a parent, it’s easy for me to understand and see exactly what is being taught. I wish our schools would use your methodology!
Also my son likes the instructors and they seem to have a good rapport with the kids. I like seeing the high school/university age kids teaching as my son seems less shy around them.
Would wish for one thing— more flexibility ie to purchase 10-20-30-or more sessions to use as time allows. I understand consistency is important but our schedule can get so busy and we need flexibility. Even if we only come regularly for 2 weeks at a time I feel the experience still benefits my child overall.

I never thought my son would be okay with going to math class 3 days a week. He loves it, has learned so much, has gained tons of confidence in math class and as a result our afternoon homework experience has completely changed. All of this in 8 weeks! I'm thrilled and SO happy for my precious child!

My daughter's confidence in math went up significantly and it was never a struggle to get her to go to Mathnasium. She really enjoyed her favorite tutor and all I know is we don't have tears anymore when we do math homework. Worth every penny! Thank you Mathnasium.
