Since it’s a new gym, I’d recommend bringing a row erg, bike, or kettlebells out to the beach (e.g., Siesta, Anna Maria, St. Armand's Circle) to do some grass roots recruiting.
Most badass place there is. No where else is like MAD. Amazing training, movements, friendships, family and more. Getting stronger everyday!

The trainers I’ve met, so far, are all nice and inviting. Gabe is very helpful, Josh is super knowledgeable, and Hannah plays great music! Other members are encouraging and everyone is happy to get active and be better than they were the day before! Great place to call ‘home.’

I loved coming to the Arlington location! I came over to Arlington because I wanted to take the 8:30 class, and everyone was so lovely. I've been going to the Alexandria studio for about 6 months now, and I'm so incredibly happy with the classes I've been taking. I'm also a CPT/Group Fitness Instructor and I'm currently transitioning into a Fitness Director role for another gym, and of all the boutique studios that I've tried- the programming at Mad is just superior. I'm always looking to learn and improve, and the coaches at Mad clearly all take their jobs very seriously and seem to love what they do. Meghan, who coaches at Arlington and Alexandria is amazing, I really appreciate her attention to detail and energy in classes. I love the workshops/clinics that are available, I've attended the boxing and kettle bell clinics so far and both were an awesome experience. Mad is really a 'model' in the fitness industry and I'm so happy to be a part of it!

The environment, structured classes, great coaches, the gym is kept clean and the variety of exercises offered keep the members active and motivated. Highly recommend.

Culture is very impressive. Anyone can have weights but to have established the community that is as friendly, supportive, as this one takes a lot of hard work over many years. My first day I had three different people welcome me, some staff, some participants. That’s a truly spectacular cultural breakthrough that is here and what has me more hooked than anything else ! Keep it up!

Really enjoyed how thorough Amanda was when exploring the movements. She was super helpful during class coming to give feedback and encouragement too. As a newcomer, I felt welcomed and not overwhelmed. Felt like I could easily adjust the movements to fit my body’s needs when necessary. The gym itself is a great size. Didn’t feel too crowded at all! Lots of space to move.
Awesome class. Trainer Steph had great energy and the members and other trainers taking the class were super friendly and welcoming!
Jon and his team have built an amazing experience. The location and equipment are clean and taken care of. There is a real sense of community at the south location and people are excited to be there. The workouts are tough, but you all cheer each other on. The staff is great at correcting form, keeping you safe. There is a real mentality that no one is better than anyone else. We all came here to workout, so let’s just do that!

Katie was a great instructor for my first class (very patient). I thought the class, which was full, had the ideal number of people for the size of the space. I like that it starts exactly on time.
