My son has had a great experience so far. While he doesn't necesssarily look forward to going to math on the weekend, he always has a good time and comes home feeling good about what he' accomplished. He's already taught us several tricks for solving problems that he has learned in his first couple of weeks at Mathnasium.
Grace truly cares about my daughters progress; you can tell she gets concerned or happy like family. All the teachers are good but some are exceptionally good. My daughter likes mathnasium as she can learn without stress.

Individualized math help in a supportive atmosphere. The teachers are well prepared. My child likes going to Mathnasium (or at least rarely complains!). The reinforcement of the school math work, even if a different curriculum, is helpful to my child. The cost is reasonable. I appreciate the flexibility to skip a month (such as in the summer) w/o payment.
The teachers put good effort to make sure students understand concepts however it would be helpful if the instructors know students little better calling their names

Our granddaughter was very hesitant about going to Mathnasium the first time. However, she skipped out the door when it was over and proudly explained about the number of pages she had finished in her notebook and the extra star she had won. She has never been hesitant to go again.
My child has been to every type of tutor - private, school sponsored, college students, PhDs specialized in learning difficulties, and Kumon. She is old enough to know what works. She clearly tells me that Mathnasium is the most help she has ever received, everyone is kind, and they teach well. She honestly is happy to go because she believes she is getting real help.

Great instructors and system.
First and foremost, we are seeing improvements in our kid's math test scores. She feels more confident about her math skills. She looks forward to staying extra longer at Mathnasium to practice for her test. It was always a fight to take her to her previous Math tutoring (another company). Also, the owners Vera and Grace take personal interest in the learning and success of the child. Their commitment to the kid's learning is evident. We are happy we were referred to Mathnasium by our friend.

Both our kids who are in middle school have gotten a lot of great help at Mathnasium. Our son recently got an A+ on his Algebra exam after getting clear explanations and clarification about "rise over run" concepts that he just could not seem to master in the classroom. Given that school classes are big in most schools many kids need that extra time and help that they cannot get in the classroom. Mathnasium gives that help in a meaningful way. It has been great for our kids. There are many great tutors and your child will find the best one to work with his style of learning. Grace and Vera, the managers, will help match them with the tutor who is right for them.
