Both of my children have benefitted from the individual learning and help with their specific issues. The staff are flexible and able to transition from one student to the next, which makes each session beneficial to all the kids that are in the session. Their ability to bring students up to speed with concepts and ideas, and incorporating them into current work has been wonderful.

Flexible, helpful, and caring for your goals
Sylvan has been very accommodating when we had a health emergency and we were able to schedule accordingly. My child leaves feeling good about herself, and has not been "fighting" me to go to her tutoring sessions.

My daughter's grade continues to rise based on the help she is getting at Sylvan. Her confidence is growing in her own ability to learn and succeed. The teacher she is meeting with is not only knowledgeable but more importantly has a teaching style that is allowing her to quickly understand and master the material. My daughter was very reluctant in the past to get help with her schoolwork. Since starting Sylvan, she has been willing and usually happy about attending her Sylvan sessions. Just this week she said that going to Sylvan has helped her get her assignments completed in a timely fashion. She also said that she thinks Sylvan will be a big help when she has her English class and other core subjects in the quarters to come.
We are hopeful that Sylvan will continue to help our daughter be more successful in school and feel more in control of her academic performance.

Our 11 year old son has been working with Sylvan 2x/week for the past 3 months. He absolutely loves going to Sylvan. Each time he gets into the car after his session, he is enthusiastic, positive, and most of all proud of himself. He can see his own improvement in reading and math and it has certainly transferred over to his class performance and state testing confidence.
