I was hesitant at first about whether a tutor would be helpful during distant/google classroom learning. I was so pleased though! Our tutor was patient with our high schooler-aged child who has special education needs. We used Sylvan for Geometry. He was obviously a well-experienced prior teacher. Her grades went way up and my stress went way down. She even smiled through her math homework with him!
The small group learning is exceptional for the students to get to know each other and feel comfortable interacting with each other and the instructor. Aynsley does an amazing job asking each of them questions and offering positive feed back on their strengths and offering suggestions on approaches on subjects that are hardly for them. i personal can say that my daughter has become very comfortaable with her. She also said she doesn't make her feel inferior or scared to ask as well as answer questions. She is available to answer my questions and offer me feedback to help make my daughter have a good course experience and less anxious as far as the test goes. she will be taking as many of the Sylvan ACT practice tests. we registered today for the first testing date on June 13th. My daughter was in need of a little help with AP Physics. She required someone to clarify some of the topics that she was missing or misunderstood. The Sylvan Learning Tutor supplied had the passion for physics that was contagious, this translated to my daughters improvements and new found enjoyment for the subject.

Everything! My 13 & 10 year old boys have been going for 3 weeks now and they really enjoy going. I am so excited to see them grow here. In just the short time there the 13 year old has mastered 25 skills and my 10 year old 17 skills! Yes, it can be expensive but what better investment but your children. Coming from a mom that doesn't have a lot I have made a choice to get a second job so my children can have this opportunity. We also drive a hour to there! Thank you Sylvan!
Very flexible with schedule and is open till 7pm. The hours make it possible for my daughter to attend classes. My daughter really seems to like the classes and looks forward to them. We talk about what she is learning and what she reviewed during the learning sessions on our hour drive home. We have about 40 hours in so I am looking forward to learning about how she has progressed.
