We enjoy the food and its unique preparations as well as the decor. We also like the outside seating option when the weather is nice and the surroundings are not too noisy (Opera). On our most recent visit there were two minor concerns. First, we noticed that the bread basket had a hair in it after picking up the bread. We informed Alisha of the issue and she brought us out fresh bread. Also, on the roasted duck I noticed several hard semi-transparent pieces of some kind on a small section of the entree. I simply scrapped them to the side of the plate and enjoyed the entree which was excellently prepared. I did not consider this a major issue but I just want to make you aware as my wife and I love South City Kitchen and we would like for it to enjoy continued success.
P.S. It would also be nice to see a few more wine selections priced by the glass.
