The overall effect of the North side Y is greatly appreciated by most residents in the community from the little kids to the seniors. I started participating here in the early 80’s and the activities have changed but are still enjoyable for all especially the kids. I myself was a camp counselor as a teenager and never have forgotten the effect it had on me with becoming a high school coach and a volunteer with our youth. I will say just look and listen to the members and continue to improve because my daughter loves the YMCA especially the North side Y and I definitely see a kid who’s on the go and becoming a great leader through being a part of the Y.
