I had scheduled a fitting with a fantastic bike fitter associated with another small business. When I called the business two weeks before the fitting, I gave them the date of the fitting, told them I wasn't local and asked if I could make an appointment date a few days before the fitting to drop my bike off, come back for the fitting and leave with it to cut down and trips and they refused to work with me. They said they would need my bike 10 days out and would "get to it at some point". When I told them I was still using it for Ironman training, they said "yeah that's not good we operate, we can't work with you on that". I told them that I would just have to go somewhere else. A few days before my fitting, I stopped in at Trek Fed Hill, which is local, dropped my bike off and they said they'd work to make sure it's ready before my fitting. They quoted me a price and when I picked up my bike (early!), it was even less than what they said. The bike rides and looks beautiful and they were so kind and accommodating. I'll be a Trek user for life!
