I have been to between one and two dozen Planet Fitness locations in the United States and this (the Latham New York location) is the best one I have been to. The staff is cheerful, friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The location is right in the center of the Capital District and the parking is excellent. Seasonally, I use another Planet Fitness in Vero Beach Florida. It falls far short of Latham, especially in terms of the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the maintenance/cleaning of the bathrooms and locker room.
The only thing I like better about some of the other Planet Fitness locations (including the Vero Beach Florida location) is that they are open later on Saturday and Sunday evenings. The only suggestion I have for the Latham Planet Fitness would be to change the hours on Saturday and Sunday from a close time of 7 PM to a close time of 9 PM. Otherwise, the Latham Planet Fitness is the best one I have been to in the country.
