Last October, Chris Graham replaced the shifters on my 14-year-old Madone 5.2 with an upgrade in quality that also required a better derailer. He did this in the time he promised so I could participate in the Norman Rotary Ride the next day.
His work was flawless, allowing me to enjoy myself rather than think about my gears and the terrain, which required a lot of shifting. Graham is currently the only bicycle service person I would ever trust to have completed a major repair only the day before I went on a major ride right after work was done on my bike without a shakedown ride between the major repair and the big ride. That was a rule when you raced, always have a shakedown ride before a race if real work was done on the bike. With Graham's years of experience as a racer and mechanic, I am confident Trek has taken care of my needs and safety.
