I like the fact that it matters to you who I choose to come into my home to help me with my care. That Senior Helpers shows respect to me for my choices.
It would help you guys a lot if you'd hire African Women who know how to cook American dishes. These women are friendly and fun. They clean my house well. But when I am recovering from illness or surgery I 'need' a caregiver who knows how to cook the food I eat so that I can get better. I'm not from Africa! It's important that I don't have to get up and go to a grocery store and then have to come home to cook because my caregiver doesn't know the first thing about African American dishes that I eat. It is very challenging to my recovery.
