It was my first time at LaVida and I was excited for a rare time of relaxation and self care. The place was clean, smelled amazing and I was kindly greeted and taken care of. The facial was good. So why would I not recommend? I know, right! The way I was treated upon check-out just ruined the zen moment and the whole experience. This was a different lady than the one who greeted me and when she could not read the numbers on my digital gift card (because they were blurry) she just handed it back and left me there feeling like a problem. She offered no support for 15 minutes while I worked on figuring out the numbers and texted the person who gave it to me (which I did not want to do…so awkward). Only after I got frustrated and told her that I was not sure what to do but seemed like she should be able to do something. She said that she can do nothing since it was an online gift card. She said I could call corporate. Seems like that should have been the lead foot!! But anyway, I called corporate and they were able to help me…so quick and easy. So disappointing! Could have all been avoided with just a little customer care.
