The leaders! Ms. Kay is amazing. We loved having her last year in Go Club at Bixby West, and we had her again at Daily YMCA Summer Camp and we have her again for Go Club this year at Bixby West. She always presents herself well, hair done, nice outfits, dressed for the job. She always has a smile on her face and greets the kids and myself. She balances organized activities and free time well.
I have a special ed kid in club and Ms Kay was/is willing to work with us and Aleah to have a positive influence on her and allow her to be accepted into club even though Ms Kay dealt with a lot of developmental issues as we transitioned.
Both my kids are foster kids and having a consistent leader who shows care towards the kids has been a huge positive impact on their lives. They love to see Ms. Kay. We wake up in the morning saying/signing Ms Kay's name. I know due to policy, her age is holding her back. This is a shame because she is highly qualified and deserves and can handle more.
