When I first enrolled my daughter in this program, the director was not very nice and rigid.
I asked the former director if they could modify the program, so my daughter could just focus on the Algebra to prepare for the Regents, because that was the purpose of paying such a large sum of money for tutoring. She wanted her to continue working on building her skill set in math and reading. She refused to compromise and told me that would be more $$. My daughter was failing in Algebra a few weeks after she joined this program, and wasn't progressing at all. Thankfully she left, and Angela (new director) came onboard. Angela recognized and agreed that my daughter needed to focus more on the Regents Algebra curriculum, and my daughter has improved significantly the past 4 weeks! My daughter has improved by 10 points on the mock algebra regents exam. Her confidence is up, and she is using the tools taught by the tutor. I am thankful that Angela listened to my concerns, and acted on them immediately. I want to commend Angela for her foresight and concern for my child. She is excellent, and I will recommend the carle place office to my peers. Gina who assists her is also awesome!
