Our experience was a wonderful one...especially since it was a special situation! Our daughter that was engrossed in musical and theatrical performance in high school just wasn't thrilled with math and since she fell behind, she was struggling, didn't want to get help at school, all of the above. Atop it all we had a personal family situation that was very hard. And she was the oldest or one of the oldest students going to Mathanasium for help. Mathanasium's Ms. Ellen that's also a college teacher in Chicago identified our daughter's stumbling blocks and helped her knock them down and stop being discouraged. Now she's a freshman in college in Chicago and although she may only have to take one math class, she knows if she needs help, where she will be going. It's such a comforting feeling. Thank you!
