Mathnasium has helped improve Ava score straight A's and improve her test scores. She is in advanced math classes and scoring in the 95th percentile in her MAP assessments. Mathnasium McLean is an amazing center. The office staff is absolutely wonderful by focusing on a child's growth and making the most out of each session--they create a professional yet friendly environment that is focused on learning. The instructors are professional and friendly to the children and take their job seriously to ensure a child stays focused and gets the help they need during the session. My daughter was struggling with concentration and endurance to problem solve. Mathnasium improved this within a month, and within 4 months, my daughter's scores improved 48% from the first placement test. Even better, my daughter loves going to Mathnasium, which is important as she goes 2-3 times per week. The entire model and atmosphere caters to keeping children's attention and makes it fun--for an 8 year old that is important! Mathnasium McLean has been a blessing for my daughter and I.

My kid has improved so much on his math skills after joining here. Love all the hands on he is getting. The center directors also reach frequently to discuss progress. Their portal is very easy to use and very flexible for rescheduling classes.
Quality of teachers
My child was brought up to her grade level with thanks to the center staff’s support after the learning loss during COVID, and she has become significantly more confident in math.
Both my kids have been with Mathnasium of Columbia, MD for more than 7 years. They enjoy their class and in fact, both of them are doing well in school with one of my kids in Math GT program and other one in Math honors program in school.
The school curriculum is often different from Mathnasium and we are extremely grateful to the Assistant Director Ms. Emily Okada who ensures that the material in Mathnasium includes a section which is related to the curriculum taught in school. We have found Ms. Okada extremely helpful and she goes an extra mile in helping my kids prepare for tests in school and also complete their homework.
Also another shout-out to Ms. KJ. We feel she is a fantastic teacher like Ms. Okada. Because of Mathnasium, I feel my kids have a great foundation in math. We would highly recommend this center.
Math homework used to be a struggle. Lots of frustrate tears. We’ve gained more confidence in our abilities and developed new skills from problem solving. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing assistance with math.
