Great staff and attention to students needs

I've had a great experience with Mathnasium. My son's confidence in math has soared and the points system is a great motivator for him to continue to show up. I appreciate that he gets to do his math homework there as well so we are DONE with math with he leaves.

I am deeply moved by the committement, attention, fine-tuned listening and observation Mathnasium has for each and every student who attends -- which I only know because of what they do for and with my daughter Theo. It's her local MATH CLUB. She "puts her Nerd on" when she crosses their threshold, grabs her notebook and trains her mind to engage. She is seen, heard and nurtured -- based on where she is now and where they know she can go. I would say that she now takes gret pride in seeing her self as a MATH Doer - willing to take risks, willing to fail forward, willing to ask for help, willing to engage even when it's hard, willing to strech herself and expeience (even if its just a glimmer) what it feels like to go the distance and practice, if not experience or just "taste" ENDURANCE MATH (like running) - with joy, pride and unafraid.

My daughter says the following -- with a huge smile on her face -- as she jauntily sashays her way towards the very welcoming and way-cool red storefront that feels like a clubhouse: "Time to get my freckily nerdy mathnazium on" -- and in she walks, reaching for her binder with her name on it, confident, focused, wondering which really nice, cool, smart, fun college grad "big kid" she'll get to with her for the next hour -- "a fellow math nerd who "gets" exactly where she is, and where she could be, and just what she will have to do to get there. Mathnasium helps kids think about, around and with numbers in a fun and explorative way! Ultimately, it helps kids use their resources and knowledge to find solutions and be great thinkers!

Mathnasium Upper Westside has been an amazing experience. My second grade child was at risk of being held back. Because of her progress in math and her learning plan for summer she will advance to the 3rd grade. Kai and team have been supportive and responsive throughout the process. My daughter loves Mathnasium and enjoys math. She is more confident and progressing well. I love the structure and the individual attention with 1:1 tutoring. My child recently stated that sometimes she does not want to go to the sessions but when she gets there she is happy 😃. The main issue is that her brother goes to the park after school while she is at the center.
There are trades offs with time and cost however it has been well worth it. My goal was to build her confidence and help her to catch up in math. Mathnasium has been a great partner.

Mathnasium has been really helpful in making sure my son is on track, keeping up with the concepts that he is learning at school. The flexibility of doing online learning is also very helpful, and the staff at Mathnasium are very kind and accommodating.

Over 18 months of Mathnasium lessons, we have seen a marked increase not only in our child's math skills, but also in confidence to make use of all available resources to solve challenging problems. Our daughter has always struggled with math but now she is much more comfortable with it. She comes out of mathnasium class happy each time.

At 10 years old, my daughter has found new confidence in math. When she began at Mathnasium, her assessment for 4th grade work revealed that she had only known 70% of the work she should have known. After completing the 4th grade missing blocks, her new test revealed that she was at 98%.
She is so proud of herself and was very enthusiastic to begin her 5th grade work. She thinks big and is already thinking about 6th grade math, because she believes that by the time she is ready for 6 grade, she will have little difficulties in settling into the program.
Because of her experience with Mathnasium tutoring, math has become her favorite subject.
