Instructors are able to keep things light and fun. The gamefied rewards system works well as motivation often meaning my child wants to do as much math as possible and would stay even longer.

My son was struggling with math at the beginning of 4th grade and after starting at Mathnasium, brought his state test math score up from 2 to 3! He is able to keep up more easily during class as well.
My 11-year-old boy loves going to Mathnasium, he likes how easy he can just work on his practice folder, only ask if he has questions, and doesn’t require him to be out of his comfort zone to speak out loud or answering questions. And his favorite park is to earn tickets to exchange snacks or toys from the reward cabinet. We see how much his confidence in math going up after going to Mathnasium. It’s a program tailored for him, and helps him to close the gap between each unit they learn through the school year, and make his math skill solid as a rock.
We love the team at Mathnasium - they are responsive, warm, and very professional.
It would be great if there could be optional "take home" assignments for the kids to do, which will help reinforce concepts they are learning at the sessions.

Mathnasium Brooklyn Heights runs an extremely organized and efficient operation. Administrative staff is professional and understanding, and the tutors are amazing! Most importantly, my 11 YO daughter has made great progress and is no longer intimidated by math!
