Customer Testimonials
I love that you’re inclusive, supportive, and make teens of all abilities feel valued and important. It’s the best thing we ever did for our child.
I've said it before, but, SoR not only teaches how to play an instrument, but they instill confidence and a sense of accomplishment to kids at a time in their lives where these lessons are lacking. My daughter has been a student here, for less than a year, and after her first performance, she's done a complete 180 in regard to her want to go on stage and perform. There is something in the "special sauce" that SoR provides. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but my wife and I are extreeeeeeeemely happy that she is a student here. The School of Rock ROCKS!
It’s amazing to have watched the progression Sam has had from Rock 101 to the Performance Program along with seeing the songs come together during each season.
School of Rock Doylestown created a comfortable, cool, welcoming space that the kids look forward to going to, learning, and playing great music at each and every week.
We love the School of Rock in Doylestown - it's a highlight for our son each week to attend his drum lessons!
This exceptional program seamlessly blends education and enjoyment for kids. The engaging sessions not only foster substantial learning but also create an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness. Children eagerly anticipate each session, making it a highly recommended choice for any young music enthusiast seeking an explorative and enjoyable experience.
The more I get to know the nuances of this program - the more I like it - that's amazing! The support in this community is wonderful. The kids really have a place to hang out, work things out, with other trusted kids and adults. We're so lucky! And, they are learning great life skills such as working as a team, supporting one another, and how to set up, and break down stage sets. It goes far beyond music. Although that's great too. ; )
My daughter has flourished with her performance confidence through the band program. The extra parties and events the school offers creates a unique sense of family.
Community.
I like that after learning songs from genres the kids choose, they get to perform in a group. It's a great way to end the "semester." The kids get performance experience and family/friends get to enjoy a show. Besides learning an instrument, the kids get to work with their peers like an actual band. It's good experience to work with different kids/musicians to reproduce a song.
I love that they bring the kids together in groups. This is so great for socialization and also sharing their talents with each other.
Flexibility
The instructors seem to connect well with the kids.
My daughter feels super comfortable going to each session. She can be shy, but she was made to feel at home from the moment she walked in. We love the feedback on what she is working on and what she needs to work on between sessions.
My daughter's voice teacher, Abby, is great and they accomplish a lot in their lessons. And the instructor chooses songs that she likes and that are appropriate to help her learn different skills.
The adult group is awesome....finding people to play with is so hard...these are motivated people that want to enjoy the experience....
my teacher Ian is awesome; young and motivated he has slowed down his sessions with me based on my experience level and is happy to get into the weeds with me about music theory and my unfortunate desire to always want to 'know why' we are doing things. He is excellent at breaking it down into small understandable nuggets.
As a 60 year old, the whole vibe around young people, passionate about their love of music, is just awesome.
It's not just learning how to play an instrument, but how to be a performer, a musician. They teach music on multiple levels, how to use equipment, how to dress, how to prepare for a show, etc., etc., etc. I would highly recommend School of Rock.
The management and staff are very connected and show a true interest in both my Daughter and Son. They look forward to each lesson so that says a lot.
Friendly staff, professional music players with clear ability to transmit knowledge to students. You can clearly see the student's progress as time goes by.
Everyone is friendly. My grandson feels very comfortable in the enviroment.
We love the diverse music offered for the seasonal shows, from motown to metal. The opportunity to audition for House Band and play live gigs is such an amazing opportunity for any kid to experience. A strong sense of community can be felt here, with top notch management and instructors. Bravo!
Everything! The value our daughter has received from attending the Princeton School of Rock far exceeds what we pay monthly. Chris & Billie are amazing…dedicated, knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging. We can’t say it enough how much we love SOR! It’s a great community for kids of all ages.
Teachers are great, staff is awesome and very flexible. Positive vibe there, always!
I like that the learn how to perform and not just how to play.
Everything about them !! I always love the music and the instructors are Top Notch
The instructors are great! There’s no where else that gives students a chance to perform live in front of an audience in all different kinds of venues.
Everything!
Loved how in just one week you were able to get a bunch of kids together (many of them total beginners) and learn enough songs to put on a decent show by Friday.
the setting, the opportunity to work with band
The School of Rock program is a well thought out, age appropriate one. My child learns to collaborate with others, social skills, and learns music! I'm so happy with how he has progressed as a musician AND a person. School of Rock, ROCKS!!
I really hated music lessons when as a kid. My son loves his lesson at sor and he is learning - what else could anyone want?
