SoR has served as our son's "team sport" for the last 8 years. He started at age 8 and is now 16. Finn has been in house band for the last 18 months and has enjoyed the comradery from being in a band. Several of them go to school together, which only tightens their bond. It is a great outlet for children who are more musically inclined and worth every penny!

We love School of Rock. The instructors are supportive and energetic about music. My child feels supported and enjoys going to band practice and his lessons. I love that kids gets to be in a band; it creates community and increases enthusiasm for music.

I say this because I cannot say enough about how amazing the organization, the methodology, and especially the SOR-Atlanta location is for their students and the students families.
I have been a SOR Dad since 2018 and have had my almost 10-year-old daughter enrolled since she was 4 years old when she entered the Little Wings program when we lived out of state.
We moved to the ATL in late 2020 and have now been with two SOR’s, Johns Creek and Atlanta. All SOR experiences have been amazing, however I have to speak toAtlanta under the leadership of Elan Church-Lovett.
Elan runs a loving, well-organized and embracing ship. All positive people are welcome on her SOR-ship, and she is well respected by her staff and they are loyal to her. You see it and hear it. SOR-Atlanta is the kind of place we all wish we worked. One where you are listened to, learn much from and feel valued because you are valued.
They care for your/their kids with a watchful eye, they teach many musical genres and do so in a way that keeps students wanting more, and they encourage exploring music beyond the kids initial familiarity.
Some kids walk in that door not having a sense of peer belonging, but you see them grow and foster strong relationships and, in some cases, long lasting friendships. I’ve witnessed kids who appear to have a sadness or even an anger, transform into individuals that now have a positive outlet for some of their emotions.
It’s more than a place for a 30-minute or 45-minute instrument lesson, it expands into their performance-based model that creates confidence, admiration, accountability, teamwork and fun.
Over these last three years in the ATL I must thank Jake, Christian, Tony, Miaka, Angela, Briana, Dustin, DJ and our former SOR friends Josh & Samantha too!
You’ve provided a welcoming and exciting spot for my daughter to be her entire self outside of her home and that is nothing we take lightly. I truly hope that SOR-Corporate realizes how special this branch is and feeds into what this location needs to continuously grow and be stay significant in our community.

Atlanta School of Rock has created a wonderful and supportive environment for learning music! ALL of the instructors and staff are excellent and eager to help students along (both in and out of official lessons). Their enthusiasm for music is inspiring.

My son has fun and seems to be making great progress in learning keys. The staff are friendly and the place is really fun. I love their rock'n'roll vibe.
My son has had such a positive experience as he learns how to play the guitar. He is greeted by name when he enters the building for lessons, his private lessons instructors have always been attentive to and supporting of his growth, and the Rock 101 groups have been wonderful social learning experiences. The entire experience has been top notch, and I would recommend School of Rock to anyone who wants to have a fantastic experience learning to play an instrument.

I love School of Rock Palo Alto! Through first summer camps, then performance groups, lessons, and now House Band participation my daughter has experienced incredible growth as a musician and performer. More importantly, she LOVES the program. Brian, Will, Julia, Rob, and Paul have all taken the time to really get to know my kid and give her both amazing feedback and wonderful opportunities. If your kid enjoys playing music, get them involved in this program.
The music education alone is incredible, but the appreciation for music the instructors have taught my son is just as impressive. It’s been incredible to see the progress and dedication instilled in these kids. Very happy with the entire experience.
