The kids are learning how to play an instrument, work with a band, and perform. I am amazed with how much they learn and grow every season! My kids love going to School of Rock.
Our 9 yr old son started his first guitar lessons a little over a year ago and he has learned so so much within that time. James Dittemore is a great instructor and it shows!

School of Rock’s programs have allowed my son to drastically improve as a musician while also making great friends. The combination of individual and group lessons allows students to work on their individual skills while also instilling the same teamwork related values you might normally associate with playing sports. However, unlike sports, there aren’t really winners and losers here, which is so much better for my hyper-perfectionist child! Also like a sports team, there are more advanced groups and programs which give these budding musicians something to strive for. Within a more advanced setting, my son has felt like School of Rock has become a home away from home.
My 9-year-old has grown in confidence so much thanks to the one-on-one teaching! Adam and Joe have both been amazing with him. He is turning into the rocker he wants to be.

Well organized, challenging, cohesive group of students with dedicated instructors and a well managed program. Multiple onstage performance opportunities at "real" venues is too cool. One of a kind program for our music lover.
My child LOVES the School of Rock Scottsdale. It's fun, the performances are enjoyable for all of us and she learns a ton of songs that SHE likes. Her musical growth and confidence have grown immensely.

Amazing instructors! My youngest transformed from a reluctant player to absolutely loving electric guitar! He comes home from every practice wanting to show me what he learned. And now he wants to listen to the best music on long drives ;)
My daughter seems to really be comfortable with the instructors and is learning so much. She is super shy so it’s important to us that she is comfortable with her environment.

School of Rock has been a life saver for our family. Both of my boys have rehersal and lessons there. I have seen their confidence grow as well as their talents. They can be having a rough day and they get to go to SOR and when I pick them up they are feeling better. Music soothes the soul and SOR is like therapy for my kids!!
My 10 year-old son loves his teacher Paul Pilawa at the Gilbert location and really looks forward to his drum lesson each week. There is nothing else that can drag him away from video games!
The instructors at the Gilbert School of Rock are amazing. My daughter loves going to her lessons each week. Bridger Love, the drum instructor, has been the best. The entire place is very inviting and safe feeling for the kids. Great environment to learn a new instrument!

The School of Programs are a great way to get our kids interested in music, to meet friends, and to try breaking out of their comfort zones by having them perform up on stage. They get to experience the thrill of being a rock star and no one can take that away from them.
I love the fun and laid back approach to music. My son connects with this method of teaching so much more than with the stiff, traditional piano lessons he took before. More importantly, I absolutely adore the everyone belongs attitude. School of Rock changed my son’s life. He feels passionate about it, he feels supported, he’s made friends, and he’s grown leaps and bounds as a musician. 20 out of 10 stars for School of Rock!
