I like the private then band combo. I think the opportunity to play in a group and work together has value.
My daughter likes how at group lessons they ask her if she'd like to play other instruments. She originally started to take drum lessons and has now learned to play the bass.

Patient instructor. He follows the student’s interest while still making sure they are learning. The band option is also great. Keeps the child interested and lets them feel what it’s like to be part of a band and perform live. Knowledgeable staff.

Everything. Literally everything. People who work there really seem to care deeply about the kids in a way I haven't seen in other places. They care about the music and the performances. Performances are actually gigs; they get the full production with lights and fog and a real audience. Streaming one of the performances for distant family is much much much appreciated. Everyone is helpful. It's an all around positive experience for my kid and my family. He's learned so much in the past 22 months, it's crazy, and he's having a blast. Love the ability to get to his lessons and sheet music online. It's nice that he has access to all parts (not just his instrument) because he can compare what his bandmates will be playing with what he's playing, for clarification purposes, before they even have that first rehearsal (to cue off of them when needed). Managing classes and makeups, etc.. is easy. It's super easy to get in touch with someone if we need to. His instructor is fantastic, as is the person he's done make up classes with. He comes out of classes and practices excited and ready to play more.
Like I said. Everthing.
The energy and excitement your staff brings for each student is out of this world.

The instructors take their time to work with the kids, there are lessons for every level, and the performance bands are exciting to see.
I love that you have given my kid a ton of confidence on stage and that has begun his journey as a musician and maybe even a career in music. He has been able to learn many songs, he is challenged musically and able support other players of different abilities. He loves his teachers and enjoys hanging out with the friends he has made in each program. Thanks again for another fun year.
We love everything about School of Rock Highlands Ranch! From the performance group, individual lessons with awesome teachers, to House Band, we couldn't be happier!
One word - FUN. The students find the lessons fun.
Music helps to build confidence in young students and gives them a sense of accomplishment. The one-on-one sessions are very good for the practical aspects of learning an instrument and spending time with an instructor to learn songs and techniques. The group stage lessons have been great for teaching a young musician how to play with others.
When students have fun learning music, they are motivated to practice and play.
