I had excruciating pain in my wrist that prevented me from working without long pauses. My job is very intense and centered around computer work. I couldn't wait until weekends where I wouldn't have to work and give my wrist a rest. Exercise was limited.
I had arthritis, bone spur as well as a childhood injury to the tendons. It had taken its toll.
After several attempts to alleviate the pain, there was no other path than surgery. Scared, but no other path to go I had the surgery. The recovery was better than expected. I was able to work with care within two weeks and six months later back to life - pain free!
