I recently had the misfortune of needing to consult an orthopedic institute for discomfort in my right hip. However, when I met Dr. Timothy Haskins at Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute Beaches, I was pleasantly surprised. Despite being a surgeon, he did not push for surgery. Instead, he took the time to explain both the MRI and x-ray results in simple, clear language, enabling me to make an informed decision about the best course of action for my hip. At 83 years old, this is the first time I’ve experienced any discomfort with my hip, and I deeply appreciated Dr. Haskins' patient-centered approach.
