I went to this studio with my birthday coupon even though there are at least 2 studios closer to my house. The reason I went is Viktoria. I love the content of her classes, both physically and mentally. I really like her style and admire and respect her.

Love the consistency of classes. Pretty much the same so I know what to expect even if there is a different instructor. Could be a bit more punctual. It not bad overall. But if class ends at 230 it should end at 230 not 240 ish. Just helps with busy schedules.

I have been a member now for over 3 years, mostly attending the Wilshire and westwood studios in Los Angeles. I love the brand, the feng shui, the natural colors and fibers, the clothing display and the bamboo floors.
My concern centers around the lack of enforcement over cell phones in the studio. I am an avid practitioner, about 5 times a week, in every class there is someone sitting in the class texting while waiting for the class to begin. I understand that you cannot police the rooms, however the teachers are reluctant to draw peoples attention and shy for fear of offending anyone. Although there is a sign in the rooms, never a reminder from the staff that cell phones create a distraction in the space.
Also, I think that the teachers, especially the newer ones in attempting to make the script their own, at least in HPF, offer too many instructions and use too many words. It is challenging for a new student, or novice like myself, to integrate too many instructions at one time. I would suggest that less is more. There are certain teachers that have overcome this tendency. Brad, Aja T and Sara West at the Wilshire studio, Ryan So, Jamie P. at the Westwood studio, Victoria and Damon at the Hillcrest studio.
I love Core Power, and will continue to attend due to convenience, multiple locations and for the most part, teachers who care and are striving to do their best. I recommend it to all my friends and love that one week free option, which makes it very inviting.
