I've been going to CPY for over 11 years now, and Dave York has consistently been one of my favorite instructors. I have so much confidence in his experience as an instructor, and his classes are different every time. The flows are creative but grounded in the CPY foundations, and I always leave having gotten a great workout.

The 8:30 Saturday sculpt classes are my favorite. The teachers and subs are amazing. I wished they worked at other studios in the northern suburbs.
I don't know if it is the acoustics in that room, but often the teachers sound like they are shrieking. Maybe a combination of turning down the music and not yelling over it would help?
The classes taught by Madeleine help me find feelings of safety, encouragement, and growth in my mental, physical and spiritual self

My husband and I love our classes at core power. We always feel the love from our instructors. They have been kind and helpful from the very first time we walked in the door. We feel so great after every class. They really lengthen and strengthen us! Emilia and Madeleine are our usual teachers but everyone is great. We’re very lucky to have you guys in the neighborhood.

Our instructor was excellent. The studio was clean, dimly lit and not over packed.

Dave's C2 was challenging in a good was, as usual. I specifically scope out classes at Roscoe, even though it's not the closest studio to me, because of the quality of the instructors.
Alana Andrews teaches one of the most challenging sculpt classes in the Chicagoland area. She's fantastic. If you are interested in a workout that targets and fatigues both the larger muscle groups and the small yet important muscles that are typically weaker, I highly recommend her classes at Roscoe and Lincoln Park. She changes up the routine every couple months, which is beneficial because students can see their progress from week to week. And she's absolutely ripped, so she obviously practices what she preaches.
