The sculpt class is fantastic.

The retail spread is awesome. Always super cute clothes for sale. The biggest complaint is how worn down the studio is. The floors need to be replaced because there is so much traffic through there they are super worn out.

HPF is like a shorter, less insane Bikram (who has 1.5 hours to workout?) and sculpt is the hardest class around.

There are several instructors at this location who are absolutely fantastic. Gina R is amazing. Danny B is amazing. Several others are very good. For me the instructor makes or breaks the class. I've gone to other corepower studios where I was very underwhelmed by the classes, because the teachers weren't that good. I think Bucktown may have the best instructors around. Always inspirational, always leave class feeling great. I really appreciate Danny B because he is concerned about proper alignment and doing poses safely... Gina R too. A lot of teachers put very little emphasis on doing the poses correctly and safely. I recently moved to the suburbs (Lagrange Park) and it has been very disappointing to go to Corepower out there... the quality of teachers is definitely not the same as it is in the city. I'm paying the same amount for what I consider to be inferior classes! But it really does depend on the instructors. Special thanks to Gina R for being such a great teacher. One of the marks by which I measure a great teacher is how I feel about the person next to me during class. A good teacher has the ability to make everyone in the room feel comfortable with each other, like we are all family and we're all in this together. A bad teacher will make everyone in the room feel ego-centered and we will all looking sideways and comparing ourselves to our neighbor... a bad teacher will not prepare us for the "peak pose" of class and then we will all feel embarrassed and sad when we can't do a highly challenging posture for which we've had no training and most of us are not doing it properly anyway.
