I am a huge fan of CorePower. I know a few people who work at CorePower too, one being a very good friend that is also a manager at her second location. I started going to CorePower and stuck to the Lincoln Square studio. I recently moved and have been going to the Bucktown studio. I've given it about a month, and I'm sad to say, that the sculpt classes are not as good as the ones at Lincoln Square. After trying again and again, as well as speaking with instructors and students at different locations, I've been able to try and pin point what is not measuring up. While each instructor is different, and their personal touches to each class make it extraordinary, there is a definite formula to follow, and I find that Bucktown instructors would rather be "different", "out of the box" or "cool", rather than follow the formula. I've actually noticed a difference in my body. I 100% credit sculpt for getting me in the best shape of my life last year. I have been going to sculpt in Bucktown just as often, but I'm not getting the same results. Why? Because instead of perfecting a move and truly taking the time to do it right (and later reap the benefits), I find myself jumping around and trying to follow some "cool" synchronized combination of moves. Yes, I am breaking a sweat, but this isn't getting me the same results in stamina, flexibility or muscle definition. Additionally, from speaking with other CP instructors, this leads them to believe (and I agree) that Bucktown instructors are more inclined to be new and hip, rather than focus on the formality - and ever more important - the safety of the practice. That's unfortunate. However, I will say, I have truly enjoyed the HPF classes at the Bucktown studio. The instructors are amazing. Their verbal cues and the overall class vibes are never short on that rejuvenating feeling that every yogi loves so much.

They are a great team. Very supportive and energizing. I do wish we could limit the community's talking before and after class. I do wish we could get no cellphones in the studios. I do wish the cleaners would not rush in to clean when we are finishing up...

I love the classes and instructors at this studio. The locker room is way too small and desperately needs to be renovated. It should be at least twice the size for the amount of customers.

They're friendly, the class was challenging but not impossible, the studio was beautiful and the instructor was really passionate and inspiring!

I DO NOT like that black tags only get 5% off. It's basically nothing.

I also DO NOT like that C1.5 classes don't exist anymore.

I do like HPF. Most of the teachers play good music. It would be pretty cool if teachers gave a description of their music online. Not the actual playlist but perhaps the genre. I once had a class of all show tunes and thought I was going to die. Namaste.

I love the accessibility & studio space at Bucktown. And the teachers are all fabulous :)

I think the instructors are friendly and knowledgable. It is a safe space where I don't feel judged. My favorite instructor is Kimberly for Monday night HPF even though I can't make it to her class as much as I'd like. She is always very friendly and attentive even though her class is always packed.
