I've been going to Corepower Yoga for nearly ten years and have attended more than 1,000 classes. Culver City's studio is one of my very favorites, and my absolute favorite studio in Los Angeles.
They have the greatest staff, including fantastic management and the most consistent and experienced teachers. (Other studios experience high teacher turnover, and they also seem to have more inexperienced teachers..)
Another thing I really appreciate about Culver City's studio is they don't overheat the studio during sculpt classes. Too many inexperienced teachers in other studios (particularly Westwood and Wilshire) will crank the heat to the point where rather than focusing on a good workout you spend the last twenty minutes trying to not pass out from heat exhaustion. (My lungs were literally drying out and burning from inhaling overheated air last night! This happens too frequently.) They really need to read the Corepower bylaws concerning heat. (Last night at Wilshire I read 97 on the thermometer after class ended. And this was the cooler air by the door!) But this is never a problem in Culver City.
ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!! Wish I had more flexibility to attend more, but I’ll most definitely be back, perhaps bring my friends and family as well. First yoga class, and won’t be the last, one of the best instructors I’ve met for working out with a group of people. Most definitely would recommend this place to people getting a nice yoga sculp full body workout. I had to burn 100 calories 😅🙏🏽
I had a a great time trying Core Restore. Manhattan Beach doesn’t usually have this on their schedule so I was happy to come to Hermosa’s location.
I brought my boy friend for his first yoga class using my buddy pass and he enjoyed the class as well.
Really loved the instructor and he even shared additional stretch techniques for my boyfriend’s problem areas.

The sculpt classes are great. The teachers have amazing energy and are always uplifting.
My C1 class with Jessica F. was lovely. I was thinking it would be super easy. Rather, i found the class both challenging and relaxing. Her voice is equally motivating and compassionate. Will definitely be back in her classes on the regular.

I have been to many different Corepower’s through Los Angeles and in different states and this is by far my favorite studio. The teachers are so personable and know almost everyone on a first name basis. The classes are challenging but the teachers are always open and receptive to feedback, really working to make sure the community feels involved and satisfied with their experience.

Kudos to the instructor (Bianca, I believe), as 10 minutes into class we had a fire alarm go off in the building. She quickly made all the right calls, including having us all gather our stuff and head outside. Fire trucks came, and it was a false alarm, and she gracefully resumed class. Know it must have been disconcerting, yet she was calm and clear headed and personable.
