I really enjoyed chatting with my barber and it felt like he really understood exactly what I wanted with my hair when I showed him the inspo pics I’d brought. This is the first time I’ve gotten my hair cut and styled and left feeling like I got EXACTLY what I wanted. I will absolutely be back in the future.

Everything was good at the Walnut Grove location. The cutter expertise was super and the atmosphere was very nice, calm, and professional.
This is very important to me as I actually went to the Willow brook Mall location for a cut in the past and returned again yesterday. I stood in the entrance for too long waiting to be greeted and was turned off by the loud talking of staff between upstairs and down. It was a busy time I suppose and people were waiting for a kid getting a cut and two guys were standing waiting to pay and leave and it just felt uncomfortable. No eye contact by staff as she yelled a name out the door to someone who must have been waiting and then went back to the exiting customers. All I needed was a simple “just one moment” or whatever but was left wondering how many more people were waiting outside. I left behind the first paying customer, went out to my car to decide where to go now. I looked up other locations and then drove to the Walnut Grove location even further from my home. Just being honest, I realize that it was probably just a bad moment in time but I won’t return to Willow brook again. I feel it is important to explain all this as a review by a returning customer, I had put in the effort to drive from Fleetwood to Langley and you had me right in the shop but failed to keep me there. That is a big failure for a business I think.

So my original haircut in Chilliwack wasn't done correctly at all. A shave with a line on one side with a fade on the other side and then the back was a V shape.
I went to Abbotsford to get it fixed, and the hairdresser was fantastic. She even out the sides into a fade because it was the only solution problem. Abbotsford hairdresser was very helpful in solving the problem. The hairdresser in Chilliwack had made. I was not charged for the Haircut in Abbotsford, but felt I needed to leave a nice $10 tip for her efforts in being a beautiful soul. Turned a bad experience into a great experience.
I enjoyed my latest experience at tommyguns, the barber I had was very engaging in conversation, kind and professional . Left with a hair cut I was happy with and was given a respectful handshake at the end as well which was a nice surprise!!.

The hairdresser didn’t listen to what I wanted, she cut my hair way too short. Was rough with the clippers against my head and while massaging. When washing my hair she got water all over my face multiple times.
