I’m a loyal CBA customer. This last visit was off from my typical experience. I was quoted one price for a Transmission Fluid switch out, but when I got to the shop the team apologized and said it was the wrong price, and it was really double the first quote.
I appreciated that they were up front before they actually started the work. I had planned to have CBA also do one other service item, but with the added cost needed to pass for budget reasons.
I requested that the technician take a before & after photo of the Transmission Pan. Unfortunately when I returned to get my vehicle, no photos were taken.
During out-processing I asked if the test drive went well. The person checking me out said “yes, if there had been a problem it would have been it would be noted on the report.” I accepted that an drove home. Later while putting away the receipt, I noticed the in & out mileage was the same.
I’d be really surprised if the test drive was less than a mile.
I’m still a CBA customer, this wasn’t the best effort.
