My daughter has learned a lot in the Rock City class. I’m often surprised by the music concepts she knows, and it has given her the chance to try lots of different instruments.

I also love the variety as my child gets older - the opportunity to join a band, perform or record. It’s a lot more than traditional music schools.

As a singer/songwriter, I would have loved to have opportunities like that growing up.

Coming up on one year since I began my weekly singing lessons with Bach to Rock in Marlborough, MA, and my opinion of both their staff and services has not faltered in the slightest. They all have been nothing shy of amazing in their lesson plans, teaching techniques, and communications since I started with them. Although my time with them has been different compared to some, I have both seen and heard improvements in my vocal capabilities over this last year. My goals may be niche, but they've both helped and guided me in a positive direction much greater than I could have ever hoped to do on my own. I look forward to continuing with them as time goes on, and I hope that they'll get to see me when I finally achieve my goals one day. My commute recently changed from 10 minutes to 60 minutes with my recent move, but that hasn't stopped me from keeping to my lessons, if that's any indication of how pleased I am with this school. Special shout-out to my instructor, Michael LaFerriere, who has been with me since the start. Love working with you, and I look forward to continuing to do so!

Different types of musical instruments

The music teachers and staff are always so friendly and helpful. They always seem to be smiling and are so positive which is refreshing to see. The knowledge and expertise that the music teachers have is fantastic. My son has learned so much and does excellent in his Orchestra class at school because of the Bach to Rock lessons he takes in addition to school lessons. The teachers are patient and know how to speak and interact with kids of all ages, skill levels and personalities. I like that they also offer camps for days that have no school.

My only wish is that there would be more teenagers participating in what you have to offer. It is a positive, safe environment in which to develop a sense of positive self-esteem, as well as skills in area of passion and interest.

My granddaughter had her 7th birthday party at Bach to Rock. It was the best! The girls were totally enthralled while they learned a few basics about the instrument they chose, and then they all played and sang a favorite song my granddaughter chose. They recorded the song in a real studio setting and will be able to download the finished song! What a fun and unique experience that they will always remember!
