Very professional and welcoming
Our grandson enjoys and thrives in a classroom environment and that's one of the offerings for a child's music training at Bach to Rock. The music teachers are patient and know how to promote understanding of music theory and develop a foundation for this lifelong skill. Every week the teachers provide verbal feedback of your child's progress and suggestions for continuing learning outside of school.

Our son had a wonderful experience at the Bach to Rock Summer Camp. From the moment he arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and encouraging. Even though he had no prior experience playing any instruments, the instructors made him feel comfortable, included, and capable.
The camp created such a positive and supportive environment that it really sparked his interest in music. He came home excited every day, eager to share what he had learned and talk about the experience. It was amazing to see his confidence grow over the course of the camp.
Thank you to the entire team for making his first musical experience so enjoyable and memorable. We truly appreciate the patience, enthusiasm, and care you showed each camper. We would absolutely recommend Bach to Rock Summer Camp to other families!
I really enjoy Bach to Rock and the variety of opportunities they offer. My daughter has had a wonderful experience learning music in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and make lessons engaging while helping students build confidence and improve their skills. I also appreciate that Bach to Rock offers more than just traditional lessons, giving students opportunities to play with others and explore different styles of music. It’s been great to see my daughter grow both musically and personally.
I highly recommend B2R! We are very happy with our son’s progress on the drums, and especially how confident he has become since starting.
Quality instruction and instrument variety
We love Rock City Summer Camp! My daughter has so much fun trying out new instruments and creating music. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would tell anyone interested in music for their child to check them out.
Don is a splendid teacher. I’m biased since he’s also my boss, but still, he makes drum set fun and meets my interests readily.

My son had an absolute blast at Bach to Rock Camp in Bethesda. The performances at the end were high quality and super entertaining. He loved the staff members and had so much fun each day, even though he was there 9-4! Amazing, well run camp.

The teachers have always been great. My son really enjoyed the beat making camp. We were so impressed! The DJ class sounds great too. Really nice that the kids have a chance to try multiple instruments during a week of camp.
